In today’s society, you see social media everywhere — Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and more. It’s crazy how social media is the main influence of everything and many people depend on it. There are creators making millions just from streaming or posting one-minute videos online — making so much more than the average person in a year. INSANE.
But is this really a good thing? On one hand, social media has opened doors that never existed before. Ordinary people can build entire careers online just by sharing their creativity, personality, or even just their daily life. It’s created opportunities for young people to become entrepreneurs, influencers, or brand owners without needing the traditional 9–5 path.
That’s what makes creative spaces like Mango Studios LDN so important — they give people the chance to bring their ideas to life. Whether it’s recording a podcast, shooting professional photos, or creating content in a well-designed environment, having the right space can make all the difference when building your brand or online presence.
On the other hand, the downside is just as obvious. Social media can become addictive and toxic, especially when people start comparing their lives to those of others. We’ve all scrolled through perfectly edited photos or seen someone living their “dream lifestyle” and thought, why isn’t my life like that? That pressure can be damaging, particularly for younger generations growing up with these platforms at their fingertips.
So back to the main question — “Can social media be the future of our generation?” The answer is yes, but it’s really up to us how we use it. Will it be a platform for opportunities, creativity, and growth — maybe even the start of something you create at Mango Studios LDN
or will it be an endless cycle of scrolling and unrealistic expectations?
