This is Mango Studios LDN first ever documentary ‘Slums to Sales: The Story Behind Fonthill Road’ Fully produced, edited and funded in-house by our team. We set out to shine a light on the incredible businesses and residents that make Fonthill Road what it is, a place full of energy, history and resilience. The documentary features voices from the community, local entrepreneurs and an appearance from Jeremy Corbyn MP who has long supported the area. This project was also a learning experience for our T Levels students, who worked alongside our production team to capture interviews, edit footage and gain real insight into professional filmmaking. It’s been an uplifting community project and a reminder of how powerful storytelling can be in connecting people, driving local pride and sparking opportunity. Mango Studios LDN presents: Beyond The Game - London Careers Festival 2026 Over two powerful days, we created and filmed an interactive sports and content careers workshop designed to show young people that football can open doors far beyond becoming a professional player. Hosted at the London Careers Festival 2026, the workshop brought together movement, media, health, leadership and creativity through four immersive stations designed for Year 10 to College-entry students. Participants rotated through: Street Panna Football Fast-paced 1v1 and 2v2 games focused on creativity, confidence, reactions and decision making under pressure. Sports Physiotherapy & Injury Prevention Hands-on learning around player care, recovery, mobility and injury support techniques. Strength & Conditioning / Coaching Agility drills, warm-up design, leadership exercises and performance coaching challenges. Media, Interviews & Commentary On-camera interviews, presenting, commentary and confidence-building through sports media production. The aim was simple: To help young people understand that sport is not just a game - it’s an entire ecosystem of careers, opportunities and transferable skills. Led by Mango Studios LDN Co-Founder and former professional footballer Nathan Smith, alongside an incredible team of coaches, athletes, creatives and facilitators, the programme connected football culture with real-world pathways in media, health, coaching, performance and content creation. Last summer, through a paid content creation programme commissioned by Islington Council, we met an incredible group of care experienced young people whose creativity, energy and potential immediately stood out. What began as a work experience opportunity quickly built real momentum. The impact of the programme was clear and from there, a community was formed: Mango Creatives. Flowstate was then created entirely by the young people themselves from conception to completion. They developed the idea, built the identity, organised the event, promoted it, coordinated the live production and sourced the artists independently including Logan, Demzz, Liam G and Ay $illz. One of the organisers, Tonella also stepped onto the stage to perform herself. The vibes were on point and an impromptu Cypher brough the house down! This was more than a live music competition. It was leadership, ownership, confidence and community in action.
